About Therapeutic Yoga
Disconnection and mistrust of your body is a common experience when you feel chronic pain on a daily or regular basis. This separation makes it difficult to pinpoint where the true problem areas are, and how to find a path to healing and wellness. Therapeutic Yoga is designed to reestablish these lost connections, calm the anxiety and stress that perpetuate chronic pain, and provide a foundation to build the physical and mental structure you need to unwind the effects of chronic pain and discomfort. This structure includes mindfulness and breathing techniques to relax and focus the body and mind, and physical asana, or movements, specifically chosen and arranged to address the needs of your body.
